Antoine and Christine Lefebvre with almost 6 week old Paul-Alexandre at the North Ridge Baby Shower on July 13, 2007. The BPO wasn’t performing that night, so Antoine was actually able to attend.
It’s been a whirlwind since Christmas, as Antoine had to go to the Philippines to bring Christine back to the US, with a side trip to see his parents in Montreal before settling in.
Gil displays his 2 commendations from the Polaris 21 Masquerade competition in Toronto on July 7, 2007. Polaris is the SF convention previously known as Toronto Trek. Gil’s Jek Porkins Rebel Pilot costume took Awards in the Novice Division for Best Recreation and for Excellence in Props and Painting.

Being careful not to kill the younglings …
Amherst, NY – Costumed North Ridge members attended the presentation of a $1000 grant from The Best Buy Children’s Foundation to Compass House, the North Ridge’s adopted charity, for which it has raised over $3000 over the last three years.
We appeared on the slopes of Holiday Valley on Saturday July 1st with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra performing John Williams’ work from the Star Wars movies. . The second set will featured music from the STAR WARS classics plus other hits by composer John Williams. Members of the North Ridge, along with friends from Garrison Excelsior, posed for pictures, sold posters, and accepted donations for Compass House. In the end, we raised $760!
Both FanForce chapters got together for some friendly bowling competition. Buffalo managed to just edge out Rochester by a few pins to bring home the trophy.
It was a short-lived victory — after the event, one of our members was captured and encased in carbonite.
