Welcome to the North Ridge, the Star Wars Fan Club and TheForce.Net<\/a> FanForce Chapter for Buffalo, NY.<\/p>\n

The North Ridge is a group of Star Wars fans who live in and around the metro Buffalo, NY area. We enjoy getting together for various activities that include movies, hunting for star wars collectibles, conventions, and charity events. We are also an official “FanForce<\/a>” chapter of TheForce.Net’s FanForce.<\/p>\n

The Force.Net<\/a> is a online resource for all things Star Wars including Fan Films, Fan Art, Star Wars News and Updates, Multimedia, Comics, Games, Costuming and more. FanForce is the online community portion of TheForce.Net, a grass roots organization of Star Wars fans with real life chapters all over the world. These fans get together to share their fanaticism for anything Star Wars related. Groups often meet at conventions and travel to neighboring cities to participate in activities together. The members reflect the fans of all ages.<\/p>\n

Our group frequently holds meetings to discuss the Star Wars films, collectibles, artwork, and costume design. The meetings are open to everyone who wishes to attend and everyone is invited to share their opinions and stories of their Star Wars experiences. We are always brainstorming new ideas for gatherings and events.<\/p>\n

Its easy to join! Just register on TheForce.net<\/a>, post a thread on the North Ridge Message Board<\/a> to introduce yourself, attend meetings and post on the message forums regularly. Meeting information will be posted there and our Facebook page.<\/p>\n

There are no limits on membership. Membership will not be denied to any person because of age, race, sex, religion, disability, or national origin. However in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission\u2019s Children\u2019s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), you must be at least 13 years of age to use the forums of TheForce.net. We do ask anyone under the age of 18 to sign a release waiver. Parents are encouraged to attend an activity with their child.<\/p>\n
